Take this medication orally 15-25 minutes prior to any sexual intercourse.
It is not advisable to take more than one dose per day.
Keep this medication away from children.
Store at room temperature at 15 to 30 C (59 to 86 F).
Throw away if expired.
Overdose
If an overdose is suspected, call poison control center or seek emergency medical help immediately.
Important
- Inform your health care provider if you have eye problems in any kind, heart problems such as: angina, unusually increased or decreased blood pressure, previous history of heart attack, liver or kidney disease, stroke, pregnant or planning to get pregnant, breastfeeding, and allergic to this drug or any other medications or foods.
- Do not take this medication in conjunction with other medications: cisapride, nitroprusside, nitrates, methscopolamine nitrate, or any other sildenafil products.
- There are also other medications that interact with this drug: anti-hypertensive medications, HIV or any anti-retroviral medications, rifampin, erythromycin, cimetidine, and other drugs that are used to treat fungal or yeast infections such as: fluconazole, ketoconazole, voriconazole, or itraconazole.
- Inform your health care provider of the medications that you are taking whether it is non-prescription or prescription medication, herbal preparation, dietary supplements or vitamins as it may interact with this drug.
- Inform your health care provider regarding smoking history or any form of alcoholism and drug abuse as it can also interact with sildenafil.
- If after taking this medication and nausea, dizziness, chest or arm pain is present upon starting sexual activity, refrain from further physical exhaustion and activity and inform health care provider as soon as possible.
- This medication is not a form of protection against HIV infection or any kind of sexually transmitted disease.
